GSA Corporation is currently exhibiting at FORESTRISE 2026, the 5th Next-Generation Forestry Industry Exhibition, being held at Tokyo Big Sight from September 16 to 18, 2026.
At our booth, we are showcasing the actual below-canopy autonomous drone developed by Sweden-based Deep Forestry AB, along with our forest 3D surveying and data analysis solutions utilizing autonomous drone and AI technologies.
The Deep Forestry drone is designed to fly autonomously beneath the forest canopy, where GPS signals may be weak or unavailable. While detecting and avoiding surrounding trees, the drone uses LiDAR to collect detailed 3D data from within the forest. The collected data is then analyzed using AI to generate 3D point-cloud data and information on individual trees, including their location, height, diameter at breast height, tree count, and estimated timber volume.
At the exhibition, visitors can see the Deep Forestry drone in person and explore actual 3D forest data collected in the field. Our team is also introducing potential applications of the technology, including forest surveys, forest resource assessment, harvesting and management planning, and forest and vegetation management around infrastructure assets.
Since the opening day, we have welcomed a large number of visitors to our booth, including representatives from the forestry sector, government organizations, research institutions, surveying and construction companies, and infrastructure operators. We sincerely appreciate everyone who has taken the time to visit us.
FORESTRISE 2026 will continue through Friday, September 18.
If you are attending the exhibition, we invite you to visit the GSA booth and see the Deep Forestry drone and forest 3D technology firsthand. We look forward to welcoming you.
